Baggage Boys supplies you with professional shipping boxes to pack your personal effects securely. These boxes are manufactured specifically for Baggage Boys and we suggest that you use them to ensure the safe and secure shipment of your unaccompanied excess baggage.
Try to estimate an approximate number of boxes you may need but we suggest that you order more boxes than you think you’ll need. Just return the unused boxes when your shipment is collected. If the unused boxes have been Damaged or marked in any way the will be charged for at £5.00 each.
Each box has a maximum weight allowance of 30kg or 40kg depending on the destination country. You will be advised of the maximum weight allowance at the time of booking, so don’t worry. If any of the boxes in your consignment exceed the maximum weight, an additional charge will be applied. The additional charge will be the accumulated exceeded weight calculated as additional boxes.

Paperwork must be submitted in a timely fashion, any paperwork received later than 7 days after the date of collection will be subject to administration fees and storage charges for your goods. Please provide full addresses at destination whatever the service. We also require a destination telephone number and contact e-mail addresses. We cannot accept a UK mobile telephone number as the contact number at destination if your delivery address is outside the UK.
With the delivery of your packing materials you will receive all relevant paperwork for your shipment. Please complete this and scan to send to the office or hand it to a Baggage Boys driver on collection (Please DO NOT hand them to Courier Drivers).
If the documentation is not returned at the time of collection and we need to contact you to recover the outstanding documentation there will be an additional charge of £10.00 for each attempt:
Every consignment needs to be custom-cleared on arrival in the destination country. If the destination address is changed after your consignment has arrived and custom-cleared in the destination country, a new custom clearance will have to take place. This will incur an additional charge of £25.00
All additional storage must be paid at least 7 days before your current storage expires with a minimum of 6 weeks unless you intend to have your storage returned before that time. Any unused storage will be refunded. Failure to make a required payment on time may incur a £25.00 late payment fee and a disposal notice will to be issued if your storage payment continues to be in arrears.
